Storm in customs

What Fatos Nano did not do, the current prime minister accomplished yesterday The wound has been opened BY ENTON ABILEKAJ The biggest opening in the State has been made. Customs officers are meeting in the markets, the time when he will issue the next fines. A study of the Albanian customs with the structures put to work with 7,000 customs officers and the movement of the smuggling headquarters will overturn an entire industry. The customs officers of the government and the opposition will no longer have any chance to enrich themselves from this administration. Yesterday, after a round of dismissals of the first dismissals by order of the prime minister, the tax administration has entered a new era of reduced corruption. According to the order of the government led by Pandeli Majko, 50 customs officers implicated in smuggling have been removed from all customs posts. Such an order would affect dozens of chiefs and lower-level customs officers if the separation were such. In the dismissals, two of them have been in prison or accused of illegal activity for 7-8 years. If the first dismissals of the new government were anticipated, yesterday at last the number of those removed and the names were given, signed also by the number two of the government - Minister of Finance Anastas Angjeli. If Fatos Nano's government never eliminated the phenomenon of smuggling and made a compromise between the government and its open world, the new government seems to intend to take hold of the disease. Customs are one of the black holes of the Albanian state. If, despite the change of the majority in government, the customs administration did not move, the right wing kept hope and protected some of its own people; while the socialists sent signs of life and continuity to others. This silent cooperation has meant that only the change of government has affected the corrupt customs administration, which has been led since the SHIK era by Fatos Klosi. The failure to purge customs is one of the silent reasons for the fall of the Nano government. Millions of dollars enter and leave through a gate where the profit from smuggling is also made. At least after 7 months the tax administration has been reformed, but this will not happen with the removal of its chief. No lawsuit has been filed by the current prime minister against the head of SHIK and the Minister of Finance, who has now been replaced. They are the sole المسؤولі? Actually translate naturally; corrected in Italian below. They are the only ones responsible for a looting machine run by the government. A government that moves and touches this wound has the chance to touch other wounds as well. This first precedent has new value. The Albanian state can be governed without dark deals, but that also depends on the determination of the people who lead it. 4 N Minister of Finance Angjeli yesterday, presenting the new customs director Adrian Maçi. Students on strike. WHY?

Some of the students are starting their asylum today, until they are worn down. Against whom and why? Angry with the government and the prime minister for not fulfilling promises. But are they really students? Or the port of Durrës, where the blame has been shifted? Outraged by his dysfunction and incompetence? Or are they against the strongman? The minister and not the crowd, some subversive elements are trying to turn student energy into a tool for toppling the government. At the head of this slander stands former president Sali Berisha together with his deputy in the PD, Azem Hajdari. A few days ago, before 4 policemen were killed, Berisha himself was present at the students' protest. The exploitation of the revolt by his party is clear. Wearing the students' flag to overthrow the government is a suspicious act. Albanian students may protest, but they should not become an instrument of failed politics. 4 N
